Ringling College Interactive Catalog
With two other designers, I art directed and designed the look and feel of the recruitment suite for Ringling College of Art and Design. As a team, we developed the concept for the suite, including art directing photoshoots and videos, choosing colors, and deciding final deliverables. Part of the deliverable was a proof of concept app and website skin which would be built out later.
BelowThe navigation, like the book, was intended to tell the story of a Ringling student. It talks to the location, then the freshman expectations, the majors themselves and then lasty alumni and where one might end up after going through the program.
BELOWConnecting potential students to current students was a focus of the catalog. Putting a face and voice to the work was key and individuals were selected to be spotlighted for each major like above and below.
BELOWWe wanted to give useful information and facts to the readers so we devised this "pop-up" system used in the book and here in the interactive version to solve that issue. They bring relevant facts about the major, school or even the students on the page to tell what seperates Ringling from the other majors and other schools around the world.
