Baker Street Script
Baker Street is a single width script typeface derived from handwriting. Its flowing curves and slim weight makes it great for big text blocks or simple headlines as you will see below. I've created Baker Street Title weights which has extended uppercase characters which were designed for use as titles, names, places or Isolated cases. I got inspired from the beautiful lettering scattered around the city of San Francisco and I tried to reflect its simple elegance. Go crazy using it for your wedding, graduation, or baby announcements.

ABOVE1 Knowing this will more likely be used in titles or headlines, I created weights where the uppercase characters intend both below the baseline and above the cap height. This allows for a classy and elegant look when set in a layout form. 2 This typeface has roots in hand written scripts (as you will see in my initial sketches at the bottom of this page). This shows itself in having big rounded forms in a majority of the characters. You can some characteristics which translate to other characters highlighted. 3 To increase Baker Street’s usability, I included many international characters into the typeface.
BELOWI really pulled out the sketchbook and pens on this one and tried to create the forms by hand. Here are a few of the sketchbook pages where I tried to get an idea of what I wanted each character to look like.
